Gander — Case Study
"Most companies have no idea what AI is telling their buyers. We didn't either. That was the gap."

CAD Wing is the UK distributor of UAVTEK counter-UAS detection systems. Before the scan, Director Lee Matthews assumed the product was too new for AI to know about it. What he didn't expect was that AI had found it — and described it completely wrong.
What AI was telling buyers
One AI chat described CAD Wing as a South Korean company. Another described their flagship product as drone analytics software. Both were wrong — and that's what buyers were finding before they made contact.
The finding that hit hardest wasn't the inaccurate descriptions. It was searching for handheld drone detection systems and watching competitors appear while CAD Wing's product didn't feature at all.
"I decided to go ahead with the implementation work because I didn't have the knowledge to fix it myself. Gander knew exactly what needed to change and why."
72 Hours Later
Both major AI tools were checked. The South Korean company description was gone. UAVTEK Sense was described correctly as a handheld passive RF counter-UAS detection system. cadwing.co.uk was being cited as a source. The fabrications had cleared within three days of the changes going live.
What I'd say to any UK defence company that hasn't thought about this: most haven't. But the ones who act first will be the ones buyers find. If you don't, you're behind — and the gap will widen.
